Steven Edward "Red" Goetz

Steven Edward "Red" Goetz,  age 61, passed away Tuesday, July 13, 2021 at UH Elyria Medical Center. He was born June 17, 1960 in Amherst, the son of John and Ruby Goetz. Red was a member of AMVETS, VFW of Oberlin, and the Eagles. He enjoyed riding his motorcycle in his spare time, hanging out with friends, and spending time with family.

In addition to his family, Red is survived by his son, Zack Goetz and stepson, Rafe (Kelly) Gabel; brothers, Jeffrey (Sondra) Goetz, and Daniel (Brenda) Goetz; sister, Beth Goetz; grandchildren, Crystal Rose and Kaden; several nieces, nephews, and many friends, including close friends and caregivers, Shawn and Barb. He was preceded in death by his son, Nick Goetz; brother, Christopher Goetz.

Family will receive friends Monday, July 19, 2021, from 5-7 PM with a funeral service at 7 PM at Wyers-Bollinger Funeral Chapel, 2900 N. Ridge Rd., Elyria, OH 44035.
