Shirley M Lovell

Shirley M. Lovell (nee Thompson), 87 of Elyria, passed away on Thursday, March 7, 2024. She was a long-time member of Broadway Assembly Church, and loved to read and do word search puzzles.

Shirley is survived by her children, Stan Wilshire (Lori), Les Wilshire (Judy), James Lovell, and Kelly Holcomb; five grandchildren; several great grandchildren; and her sister, Jane Payne.

Shirley was preceded in death by her parents, Alfred and Elizabeth Thompson; husband, Jim Lovell; sister, Loma Dadah; brother, Pete Thompson; and aunt, Geri.

The family will receive friends on Friday, March 15 from 4:00 - 6:00 pm at Wyers-Bollinger Funeral Chapel, 2900 N. Ridge Road, Elyria, with the funeral service immediately following at 6:00 pm.
