Scottie Ray "Scott" Parker

Scottie Ray “Scott” Parker, 48 of Elyria, OH passed away on May 1, 2021. He attended Elyria West High School before moving and graduating from Hunter Huss High School in Gastonia, NC. He was baptized at the Vermilion Church of Christ. Scott was proud to have served for a short time in the United States Navy. While growing up in Elyria he enjoyed playing baseball at West Park and was an avid baseball fan. He also enjoyed music and his bass guitar. Scott’s greatest joy was his daughter, Sophia, whom he loved dearly.

Scott is survived by his daughter, Sophia Parker of Elyria; mother, Grace Robertson of Elyria; sisters, Dana Auble (Ken) of Cosby, TN, Lorraine Webber (Chuck) of Oberlin, and Yvonne Parker of Elyria; uncle Mitchell Dutton of Elyria; aunts, Roberta Wiley (Eddie) of Vermilion, Debbie Adkins (Dale) of Lorain, Stella Dickens of Amherst, and Iva Pratt of Amherst; niece, Melody Stewart (David) of Elyria; and other beloved nieces, nephews, and cousins.



He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Frank and Robbie Sparks; aunts, Hazel Boyce (Eddie), Betty Dutton, and uncle Jeff Pratt.

His family will be holding a private graveside memorial service.
