Rosanna Roark

Rosanna (Chaney) Roark, 72 of Lorain, passed away on Sunday, June 16, 2024.  She was born in Lorain, Ohio, where she lived her whole life.  In 1969, Rosanna married Charles Roark. They were married 25 years until his passing in 1994.

Rosanna has had many jobs over the years, like Tupperware sales, and Rebmans Bowling. She retired from LCADA. She loved playing cards on Thursdays with her sister, nieces, and family. She loved going out to listen to her favorite oldies band, Time Lok. Her hobbies included bowling, bingo, and spending time with her great grandchildren, Kain and Benson (11), Luna and Parker (9), Ella (6), Kylo and Ezra (2).

Rosanna is survived by her 3 children, Scott (Michelle) of Perth, Australia, Paula of Amherst, and Corine of Lorain; grandchildren, Michael (Alexis), Charlie, Quentin, Georgia, Oscar and Elizabeth; brothers, Edward Rico (Chris), Freddie Rico (Darlene), Anthony Rico; sisters, Juanita Bray and Margie Rico Bischoff (Gary);  many nieces and nephews; and so many friends.  She was deeply loved.

Rosanna is preceded in death by her husband, Charlie; parents, Anthony and Nicolasa Rico; sister, Mary Lou Cooke; brothers-in-law, Robert Bray and Warren Delaney; and nephew, Christopher Rico.

The family will receive friends at Wyers-Bollinger 2900 N. Ridge Rd. Elyria from 5:00 - 7:00 pm on Monday June 24, 2024.  Burial will be at Ridge Hill Memorial Park, 44805 N Ridge Rd. Amherst.  A Celebration of life will be planned for a later date.
