Roberto (Bobby) Cruzado passed away on January 22, 2021 at the age of 73 after an extended illness. Bobby was born in Santurce, Puerto Rico, but was raised and lived his life in Lorain, Ohio. Bobby graduated from Admiral King High School in 1966. While in high school Robert was on the varsity wrestling team and was a runner-up for the State Wrestling Championship. Bobby continued his education and wrestling at L.C.C.C. for two years and then on to Ohio University where he wrestled on the varsity team. After college, Bobby continued his love of sports by playing on several different softball and baseball teams. Bobby worked at U.S. Steel, B.F. Goodrich and Lorain County Sheriff’s Department where he retired as a Corrections Officer.
Bobby is survived by his companion Kathry German, his brother Harry Cruzado and sisters Gloria (Michael) Barash, Alery Turcus, Jacqueline Rentas and Susan (James) Burge, as well as many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents Joaquin and Maria Cruzado, his brothers Joaquin, Jr. and Raymond and his sister Maria Torres.
A private, immediate family service will held at Wyers-Bollinger Funeral Chapel on Tuesday, January 26, 2021 at 10:00 a.m. Burial will immediately follow at Ridge Hill Cemetery, Amherst, Ohio.

There will be a celebration of life luncheon for Bob on Sunday, January 31 at German Villa, 3330 Liberty Avenue, Vermilion, beginning at 1:00 pm, followed by the luncheon at 2:00 pm. Please RSVP to 440-967-1770 or 440-864-9222.
