Richard C Runion Jr.

Richard “Rick” Runion Jr., 62, of Lorain passed away peacefully in his home Tuesday, February 17th, 2026. Rick was born October 18th, 1963, in Lorain, Ohio, where he lived most of his life. After graduating high school, he served in the United States Army. Rick enjoyed spending time with his children and grandchildren, and shooting pool with his sons.

Rick will be deeply missed by Jennifer Runion; his children, Yvonne (Polly) Jones, Nicholas (Ashley) Jones, Jonathon (Hannah) Jones, Clayton (Megan) Runion, Michael (Kelsey) Jones, Rebecca (Jake) Csizmadia, Ricky Runion III, Wanda Recznik, and Keirsten Zeiter; 22 grandchildren, Lexi, Jason, Ry, Peyton, Lilie, Wesley, Raegan, Addison, Alyssa, Elijah, Braylen, Avery, Gabriella, Clayton Jr., Jordyn, Cecilia, Violet, Gianna, Jasper, Presley, Xavier and Sylvia; 3 great grandchildren, DJ, Gabriel and Alysianah; sister, Tina (Gene) Prohaska; and a host of many other family & friends.

Rick was preceded in death by his father, Richard “Dick” Runion and his mother, Sylvia Mey.
