Lorain

Richard Lee Gibson, 52 of Lorain, passed away on Saturday, September 23, 2023.  He lived the majority of his life in Columbus, Ohio, but after marrying his wife Dixie, they moved to Lorain where they lived for the past 18 months. Richard loved bowling, fishing, tennis, having date nights and going to the lake and flea markets.  He collected snow globes and DVDs, and was a huge fan of The Ohio State Buckeyes and the Dallas Cowboys.  Richard was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints in Lorain.

Richard is survived by his loving wife, Dixie; brother, Bobby; and sister, Carmella Brock.  He was preceded in death by his parents, Delmar Stanley and Judy.

The family will receive friends at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, 3501 Kolbe Rd., Lorain on Saturday, Sept. 30 from 9:00 -10:00 am, with the funeral service beginning at 10:00 am. Burial will follow at Ridge Hill Memorial Park.
