Paul Elliott Permelia

Paul E. Permelia, 77 of Lorain passed away on Monday, October 20, 2025 following a short illness. He was born in Tolley Town, West Virginia to Elliott and Virginia Permelia and lived many years in Lorain. Paul was a US Air Force Veteran and a retired Dental Lab Technician. He was a man who loved God and his church – Journey Church in Avon. He loved playing music and fixing cars. Paul was a great family man who loved his family and will be greatly missed by them.

Paul is survived by his loving wife of almost 48 years, Kathy (nee Greene); his daughter, Ginny Permelia; and nephew, Mark (Lisa) Permelia. He was preceded in death by his son, Thomas; parents, Elliott and Virginia; and brother, Darrel.

A memorial service will be held at a later date, to be announced at Journey Church, 995 Center Rd., Avon.
