Michael A. Chrosniak, Sr.

Mike Chrosniak, age 61, passed away on July 8, 2026, at his home in Sheffield Lake, Ohio after a tough battle with cancer. He was born on September 4, 1964, in Bay Village, Ohio, to Barbara L. (nee Eck) Chrosniak and the late Bruce W. Chrosniak.

Mike proudly served his country in the United States Army and went on to work in maintenance in the steel industry. He then worked as a Senior Technical Specialist with Howmet Aerospace for 20 years, where he will be remembered fondly as a good friend and helpful resource to many. He loved to travel with or just be around his family and friends.

Mike is survived by his wife of 37 years, Cheryl (nee Hillegas) Chrosniak; daughters, Jennifer Al-Ghaben, Victoria Chrosniak; son, Michael Chrosniak Jr.; granddaughters, Yasmine, Aliyah and Amira; his brothers, Chris (Darla), Bruce (Tara), Brian (late Theresa); and numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. He is preceded in death by our son Joshua Neece.

Family and friends are invited to gather for visitation on Sunday, July 12, 2026, from 1:00 p.m. until 4:00p.m., at Wyers-Bollinger Funeral Chapel, 2900 N. Ridge Road E., Sheffield Township, Ohio. Funeral Services will begin at 3:00 p.m., followed by the rendering of military honors at 4:00 p.m.
