Mary Durnell

Mary Durnell, 95, of Lorain passed away at Avon Place on Monday, March 13, 2023. She was born on March 10, 1928 in Sandy Lake, Pennsylvania to Michael and Anna Kudiak (nee Steckley).
Mary enjoyed crocheting and being out in the garden tending to her flowers and plants. When not in the garden, she enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and many great-grandchildren. Mary had a passion for traveling, especially to Las Vegas, Nevada.
Mary is survived by her loving daughters, Anna Winnen and Susie (Jeff) Sciulli; sons, Terry (Sue) Durnell and Michael Durnell; sister, Alice Hoffer; 10 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandson; and another on the way.
Mary was preceeded in death by her loving husband, Fred Durnell; parents, Michael and Anna Kudiak; daughter, Pamela Zemantauski; and son, David Durnell; four brothers; and six sisters.
A Memorial Service will be held at Christ Lutheran Church at 4501 Clinton Avenue in Lorain, Ohio on Saturday, March 18, 2023 at 12:00 noon.
