Martha S. Canterbury (Williams) “MarDad Laflare” born June 29th, 1967 in Cleveland, Ohio to Betty L. Conaway and Rush E. Williams. Martha has passed away in her home in Lorain unexpectedly on November 24th, 2021.

Martha was a life time resident of northeast Ohio, who graduated from Brookside High School. She then went on to receive her nursing degree from LCCC, devoting over 25 years to patient care, making many great friends and memories along the way. She enjoyed traveling, celebrating the holidays,  shopping, fine dining, collecting and acquiring antiques, spending time with her children and dogs and of course making money. She was the best mother ever and will be dearly missed every minute of everyday.

Martha leaves behind her brother, Rush E. Williams Jr (Sue); her children, Stevie Canterbury, Sammy Canterbury and Sheyenna Fowler; step children, Andrew Fowler and Sarah Fowler. She was preceded in death by her parents, Betty L. Conaway and Rush E. Williams.

The family will receive friends at the Wyers-Bollinger Funeral Chapel, 2900 N. Ridge Rd. E., Sheffield Twp. on Thursday from 11am until the funeral service at 1pm. Entombment to follow at Resthaven Memory Gardens, Avon, OH.
