Margaret Luvica Raber, longtime Lorain resident, passed away Sunday evening, March 13, 2022, surrounded by her family. Margaret was born the cherished daughter of John and Dorothy (nee Hersey) Young in Washington, PA. She was a talented crafter of many things, and loved candle-making and flower arranging. Scott Eastwood's biggest fan has gone to her rest.


Margaret is survived by her three loving daughters, Chrystal (Sam) Ferguson, Belinda Crook and Michele (Dupree) Crooks; her grandchildren, Jonathan (Kathryn) Ferguson, Craig (Alexandra) Ferguson, Miranda (Christine) Kingsley, Skyler Kingsley, Jason Kingsley, Jaidan Span, Tommy Garner, Brandon Garner, and Karissa Garner; 19 beloved great grandchildren; sister, Jane (Richard) Bushyeager; many, many friends and other family; and her church family at First Baptist Church Sheffield Lake, who will all miss her dearly.


Margaret is preceded in death by her loving parents, John and Dorothy (nee Hersey) Young; her beloved husband, Chauncey H. Raber, Jr.; her brother, John Young; her son-in-law, Robert Crook; and her grandsons, Cory Ferguson and Christopher Allen.


The family will receive friends on Saturday, March 19, 2022 from l1:00 am - 1:00 pm at Baptist Church Sheffield Lake, 633 Harris Rd, Sheffield Lake, with funeral services at  1:00 pm.


Wyers-Bollinger Funeral Chapel is assisting the family.
