Kathleen "Kathy" Rose Rutledge

Kathleen “Kathy” Rose Rutledge (nee Van Hoose), went to be with the Lord on Saturday,
November 11th, 2023, at her residence. She was born January 17th, 1947 in Lorain, Ohio to the
late Edgar and Marie (nee DeChant) Van Hoose.

After graduating from Clearview High School she met and married Harold Rutledge. She
enjoyed gardening, bird watching, and spending time with her family. Kathy’s main focus was
on her family.

Kathy is survived by her husband, Harold, of 55 years; daughters, Caroline, and Laura; stepson
Harold David; sisters, Linda Martin and Margaret Nutt; brothers, Robert (Marie) Van Hoose and
Edgar (Buddy) Van Hoose; and other extended family.

A memorial service will be on Tuesday, November 21st, 2023, from 4 pm to 5pm, at Wyers-
Bollinger Funeral Chapel at 2900 North Ridge Road in Elyria followed by a funeral service at
5pm.

Wyers-Bollinger Funeral Chapel is assisting the family with all funeral arrangements.
