Kathleen A Bering

Kathleen A. Bering, 72 of Vermilion, passed away peacefully on Thursday, February 15, 2024. She used to love to go boating, and also enjoyed cooking with her late husband, Steve. Kathy also had a great passion for gardening, especially growing flowers, and she loved all her pets. Above everything else, Kathleen’s family was paramount to her. She will be greatly missed by them.

Kathy is survived by her daughter, Janet Vazquez; grandson, Alex Vazquez; siblings, Hugh Davis (Debby Harris), Warren Davis (Linda), William Davis, and Sheila Davis (Jim Metz); half sisters, Debra Hopkins and Carolyn Barbare; cousin, Cheryl Nimon; and many nieces, nephews, and other cousins.

Kathy was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Steve; parents, Hugh Davis and Helen Davis; mother-in-law, Delores Vasu; and sister-in-law, Linda Davis.

The family will receive friends at the Wyers-Bollinger Funeral Chapel, 2900 N. Ridge Rd. E., Sheffield Twp. on Saturday, February 24 from 4:00 -6:00 pm, with a funeral service beginning at 6:00 pm. There will be a graveside service on Wednesday, February 28 at 11:00am at Elmwood Cemetery, Lorain.
