Jean E Smith

Jean E. Smith, 83 of Lorain passed away at her home on Friday, April 5, 2024. She was a blunt, but funny, great-hearted soul who would help anyone. She was a member of AA and was always there to help others. Jean loved her stuffed teddy bears, doing crafts, and feeding the animals. She will be greatly missed.

Jean was the loving mother of Cindy Rivera (Nelson Santiago), Kenny Weese (deceased) and Becky Shreffler (deceased); dear grandmother and great grandmother to many; sister of Mary Snyder (deceased), Judy Garrett, Linda Feather (deceased), Jackie Stevens, Pat Ondreyka (deceased), Helen O’Brien (deceased), and Roy Galliher. She was also the former wife of George Smith and Junior Weese.

The family will receive friends at the Wyers-Bollinger Funeral Chapel, 2900 N. Ridge Rd. E., Sheffield Twp. on Thursday, April 11 from 11:30am - 12:30pm. The funeral service will begin at 12:30 pm, followed by the burial at Resthaven Memory Gardens in Avon.
