James Edward Gehm

James Edward Gehm, 53 of Elyria, passed away on Tuesday, July 27, 2021. He was a huge Pittsburgh Steelers fan. He was a very talented hardscaper – he could make any yard look great. James was outgoing, handy, and a genuine good guy.

James is survived by his two sons, Louis and Dylan; grandson, Daxton; mother, Gloria Gehm; sister, Lorie Slater; and many other family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his father, Louis Gehm.

A celebration of his life will begin on Friday, August 6 at 5:30pm at the Wyers-Bollinger Funeral Chapel, 2900 N. Ridge Rd., Sheffield Twp. where the family will receive friends from 4pm until the service begins at 5:30pm.
