Hilda Lou Newman

Hilda L. Newman, born on November 29, 1943, passed away peacefully on May 24, 2024, in her home surrounded by loved ones after a courageous battle with cancer. Hilda was preceded in death by her loving husband, Charles R. Newman; her mother, Rebecca Evelyn (nee Smith) St. Clair; her father, Roy Leonard St. Clair; her sisters, Margaret (nee Weaks) Anderson and Joyce (nee Weaks) Phillips; and her brother, Leonard William St. Clair.

Hilda is survived by her daughter, Regina Newman, and her son, Charles Newman, along with her daughter-in-law, Stephanie (nee Leighty) Newman. She also leaves behind her beloved granddaughter, Marissa (nee Newman) Schofield, and grandson-in-law, Michael Schofield. Additionally, Hilda is survived by her four sisters and two brothers.

Hilda enjoyed spending time with her family and pets, gardening, and watching Lifetime movies and Westerns. She found joy in drawing and reading the Bible. All who knew her will greatly miss her warm spirit, loving nature, and unwavering support.
