Gretchen E Morgan

Gretchen E. Morgan (nee Biggs), 69 of Avon Lake, passed away on Friday, September 18, 2026. She was born in Lorain, Ohio and lived most of her life in the Lorain County area. Gretchen enjoyed crocheting and completing puzzles. She was an outgoing, very kind-hearted lady who could light up a room and loved being a jokester. Above all, Gretchen was a family oriented woman – a great Mom, grandmother, and great grandmother, and she will be greatly missed by them all.

Gretchen is survived by her loving children, Hayley Hamby (Jason), Matt Morgan (Kate), Michael Morgan (Audrey), and Lindsey Morgan (Kyle); 9 grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren; and her brothers Bob, Mike (Mary), George (Val), and Bill Biggs; and sisters, Judy Caine (Kevin), Kathleen Valek, and Linda Rosskopf; along with their families. She was preceded in death by her parents, George and Catherine Biggs.

The family will hold a celebration of her life on Saturday, February 6.  Time and location will be announced at a later date.
