Gloria M. Porostosky

Gloria M. Porostosky, 92, of Lorain gained her angel wings on August 1, 2023.  She was born on April 6, 1931 in Lorain, Ohio where she lived her entire life.

Gloria worked in the Accounting Department at Ford Motor Company for 32 years.  She had a tender heart for all animals, especially her many dogs over the years.  She enjoyed knitting, arts and crafts, and traveling. She was known for her gentle demeanor, fun personality and will be remembered for always having a smile on her face.  Gloria cared deeply for her family and friends who will miss her greatly.

Gloria is survived by her brother, Franklin D. Azok (Lenore M.) of Amherst; nephews, Franklin E. Azok of Lorain and Jon Azok of Amherst; nieces, Lenore Yuhasz (Frank) of Amherst and Suzanne Woods of Amherst; niece-in-law, Galina Azok of Myrtle Beach; great nieces and nephews, Cameron Yuhasz, Chloe Yuhasz, Claudia Yuhasz, Andrew Woods, Carley Woods, AJ Woods, Alex Woods, Hannah Azok, Corey Azok, Troy Azok and Christopher Azok.  She is also survived by her beloved and precious little “Tootsie” dog.

Gloria was preceded in death by her parents, Frank and Ann (nee Wargo) Azok; her brother, James W. Azok; nephew, Clifton T. Azok; and dogs Princess, Winny, Peanuts, Precious, Cookie and Baby.
