Gertrude Irene Quesenberry

Gertrude Irene Quesenberry (nee Keckler) was born on May 19, 1936 and went to be with the Lord on May 3, 2021. She was a beloved and cherished wife, mother, grandmother, sister, friend, prayer warrior, teacher, and child of God. She was a member of Praise and Worship Church.

Gertrude is survived by Charles Quesenberry, her husband of 60 years; sister, Grace McNair; son, Rick Hill; daughters, Debbie Whisman and Theresa “TT” Parr (Joe T.); grandchildren, Ricky Hill (Jessica), Steve Nemec, Lee Hill (Melissa), Fred Hodson (Ginni), Amy Hodson (Joy), Anthony Parr, Tommy Parr, and Michael Parr; 17 great-grandchildren; and 11 great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, William Harrison Keckler and Anna Marie Keckler (nee Amann); brothers, Arthur, John, and David; and sisters, Ruth, Rosanne, Betty, Helen, and Martha.

The family will receive friends at the Wyers-Bollinger Funeral Chapel, 2900 N. Ridge Rd., Sheffield Twp. on Thursday from 5-8pm. The funeral service will be held at the Mausoleum at Resthaven Memory Gardens, 3700 Center Rd., Avon, OH on Friday at 1:30pm.
