George J. Facsko

George J. Facsko, 81 of Sheffield, passed away on Friday, December 24, 2021. He was a Vietnam veteran having served in the US Navy Seabees. George was a graduate of Elyria Catholic High School and was a Tool and Die Maker. He also was a member of the Church on the North Coast.

George is survived by his loving wife of 42 years, Carol (nee Krall); children, Donna Martin (Joseph), Thomas Haley (Maureen), and Annette Haley; grandchildren, Annie, Anthony, Dominic, and Sarah; and his brother, Thomas Facsko of Idaho. He was preceded in death by his parents, George and Mary Facsko.

The family will receive friends at the Wyers- Bollinger Funeral Chapel, 2900 N. Ridge Rd. E., Sheffield Twp. on Tuesday from 5-8pm. The funeral service will be held at the funeral home on Wednesday beginning at 11am. Burial will be at St. Teresa Cemetery.
