Eva Gray Todd, 100, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, January 12, 2021 in Kalamazoo, MI. Eva was born February 26, 1920 in Dixon Mills, Alabama to the late Tommie and Lizzie Bouler. Eva was a devoted wife of the late Nathaniel Todd for 64 years. She was a member of the Fairfield Baptist Church of Lorain, OH where she served on the Usher and Missionary Boards and was also a member of the Prayer Band. Eva retired from Anchor Lodge Nursing Home of Lorain Ohio, where she worked for many years. After the passing of her husband, Eva relocated to Kalamazoo, MI and resided with her youngest daughter and son-in-love, Mary and Glenn Charles. She became a member of The Galilee Baptist Church and attended regularly until she was no longer able.


Eva was preceded in death by her parents, 9 siblings, her husband, 1 infant son Larry; youngest son Duane Todd; 2 grandchildren, Kimberly Neri and Mark A. McGee; 1 great-granddaughter, Imani Todd.


Eva leaves to cherish her memory, 2 devoted daughters, Callie (Arthur) Rucker of Kalamazoo, MI; Mary (Glenn) Charles of Kalamazoo, MI; 2 loving sons, Joe (Geraldine) of Kalamazoo, MI; Jerome (Sandra) of Lorain, OH; 12 grandchildren, 29 great grandchildren, 14 great-great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews and 2 dear friends, Lucilla Jones and Josephine Smith of Lorain, OH.


There will be a graveside service on Thursday, January 21 at 2pm at Elmwood Cemetery, Lorain.
