Eugene A Kessler

Eugene Alfred Kessler passed away peacefully on March 11, 2026. He was born May 3, 1942, in Lorain, Ohio, to his proud parents, Alfred and Twila (nee Steele) Kessler. Eugene was known for his love of running 5K’s and enjoyed golfing and bowling.

Eugene dedicated 30 years of service to Ford Motor Company, working in the automotive upholstery division.

His memory will live on in his sons, Rodney and Gene Kessler; daughter, Jackie Tayman; granddaughter, Maggie; sister, Julie Kessler; and many dear friends.

He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Deanna Kessler; infant daughter, Jessica; parents, Alfred and Twila; and sister, Florence Kessler.

Friends are invited to join the family on Wednesday, March 18th, 2026, at Wyers-Bollinger Funeral Chapel, 2900 N. Ridge Rd. E., Sheffield Township. Visitation will be held from 11:00 am until the time of the service at 1:00 pm, which will be officiated by Pastor Rick Keesee of Midway Baptist Church. A procession will follow the service to Eugene’s final resting place at Maple Grove Cemetery in Vermilion, Ohio.
