Ernest Vincze

Ernest N. Vincze, 88 of Elyria, passed away on Friday, March 28, 2025. He had been retired for 29 years from the Paint Department at the Ford Motor Company in Lorain where he worked for 30 years. Ernest was a US Army veteran having served from 1958-1960. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, woodworking, working on cars – basically anything outdoors. His greatest joy was spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren, all of whom will miss him greatly.

Ernest is survived by his beloved wife of 63 years, Denise (nee Pondy); loving children, Scott Vincze (Susan). Tracy Vincze, and Kristi Thomas (Michael); and his dear grandchildren, Samantha Vincze, Nicolas Thomas (Katie), and Kennedy Cancellieri (Paul). He was preceded in death by his parents, Nick and Irene Vincze.

A private family burial service will be held.
