Dawn Marie Yackly-Stapleton

Dawn Marie Yackly-Stapleton, born on February 11, 1975, passed away peacefully surrounded by family on May 19, 2022. She will be greatly missed by so many.

She was a loving aunt, great aunt, cousin and a wonderful friend. Her one-of-a-kind attitude, big smile, 80’s hairdo and infectious laugh will never be forgotten. She loved to read Nora Roberts and was a horror movie & crime show aficionado. She loved to dance, tan and jam to R&B, hip-hop and rap. Loved her furbabies Mamoa & Zelda and her granddogs Dioji & Gus dearly. Channing Tatum and Jason Mamoa’s biggest fan has gone to her rest.

She is survived by her beloved children Hannah Nelson (Ryan Kordish) and Conner Holmes; her grandson Levi; her mother Judy Yackly; her sisters, Sophia, Roni (John) Fry, Kelli, Tracy and Lisa; and her brother Mark.

She is now reunited with Jason Holmes, the father of her beloved son and Mica Woods her dear, dear friend; her father Ronald Niedzalkowski; and her brother Ron Jr.

Service will be held Friday, June 3, 2022 from 4-6 pm at Wyers-Bollinger Funeral Chapel, 2900N. Ri dge Rd, Elyria, OH 44035, with a Celebration of Life to follow at Bleachers, 6855Ridge Rd, Cleveland, OH 44129 after the service.
