David Michael Singletery

David Michael Singletery, born on May 15, 1998, passed away unexpectedly on November 12, 2022 of a health issue, at the age of 24. David graduated from Southview High School in 2016 and went on to Ohio Business College for Medical Assistant, where he was very proud to make the Dean’s list. He worked laying floors and doing interior house construction. David made many friends, was full of life, and was always joking around. He also spent a lot of time with all of his family. He loved taking his baby sister to the store late at night, play fighting, video games,  watching the Pittsburgh Steelers with his Mawmaw, and always made a joke that Angela Hardie was his dad.


David is survived by sisters, (Favorite Sister) Destinee Singletery, Madison Stewart, Larissa Simpson, Alexis Muller, Trinity Singletery, Ariel Singletery; brother, David Singletery; sisters, Daveeda Wells, Markita Singletery and Estrella Singletery; father, David Singletery; mother, Kelli Simpson; grandmother, Caroline Simpson; uncles, Michael and Paul Simpson, Nate Lumpkin, Bryon and Trent Alls; close friend, Natania Rayes; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.


David was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Paul Simpson; paternal grandmother, Irene Lumpkin; paternal grandfather, David Singletery; aunt, Malinda Stewart; brother Devin Singletery; and maternal great grandparents, Dorsey and Dovie Stottlemire.


The family will receive friends  on Thursday November 17, 2022 from 5:00 pm - 8:00 pm at Wyers-Bollinger Funeral Chapel 2900 North Ridge Road, Elyria.  Services will follow at at 8:00 PM.


Donations to the family can be sent via the funeral home.
