David J Aldrich

David J. Aldrich, 81 of Elyria passed away at The Woods at French Creek in Avon on Saturday, January 3, 2026. He was a very active and dedicated member of New Haven Baptist Church in Sheffield where he printed the bulletins and ran the sound booth. He truly cherished his church family and friends. Dave enjoyed computers and electronics, especially playing racing games. He also liked watching classic television and listening to music from the 40’s and 50’s. He will truly be missed by all who knew him.

David is survived by his sons Charles (Kimberley) and Edward Aldrich; grandchildren, Nick, Andy, Lindsey, and Delaney; brother Ron Aldrich; and sister-in-law Gail Rush. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife Shirley; parents Charles and Evelyn Adrich; and a brother Jerry Aldrich.

The family will receive friends at New Haven Baptist Church, 5290 French Creek Rd., Sheffield on Saturday, January 10 from Noon until 1:00 pm, at which time the Memorial Service will begin.
