David Alan Janke, 49, passed away Saturday, August 21, after a lengthy illness.

Beloved son of Trudy (John) Gollmer; son of David (Noreen) Janke; dear brother of Scott (Angela) Janke; loving uncle of Madelyn Kirkpatrick, Noah, Spencer, Caroline, Isabella Janke; cherished nephew of James (Connie) Lichniak, Janet Leonard, Edward (Carole) Leonard, Alan (deceased) (Donna) Janke, Donald (deceased) (Phyllis (deceased)) Janke; treasured cousin of Jason, Tamara, Jared, Joseph and Michael; dear friend of Kim, Mike and Tom.

Private family services will be held graveside. The family will receive friends on Sunday, August 29 ^th from 5-6  pm at the North Olmsted Masonic Temple, 23844 Lorain Road, North Olmsted, Ohio 44070, with a memorial service to celebrate David’s life at 6:00 PM (Parking and entrance is in the rear of the building.) The memorial service will be live-streamed, and can be viewed by clicking the link below.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions in David’s name to Holy Family Hospice, 6707 State Road, Parma, Ohio 44134-4595.
