Daniel “Dan” Sesko, 64, passed away peacefully at home on April 11, 2026, in Sheffield Village, Ohio, surrounded by the love of his family.
Dan was born on July 7 in Medina, Ohio. He was lovingly raised by his mother, Joan, and his dad, Steve Varga, who played an important role in his life.
Dan will be remembered most for his generosity, sense of humor, and quiet strength. He found his greatest joy in his family and in traveling with his wife, Kym. He also had a deep love of animals, especially his dogs, Lilo and Ruby, and cherished the special bond he shared with Chowder, his daughter’s dog.
He is survived by his beloved wife, Kym; his parents, Joan and Steve Varga; his son, Tim Sesko; his daughters, Kelsie Lewis and Courtney Russ; his grandchildren, Daniel and Brannah Sesko, and Ella Lewis; and his sister, Teri Jones. He is also lovingly remembered by his aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, and great-niece, as well as many dear friends who became family.
Dan’s presence brought warmth and steadiness to those around him. He will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
Family and friends are invited to join us in honoring and celebrating the life of Dan Sesko on Sunday, June 7, 2026, from 2 to 5 p.m., at American Legion Post 211, 31972 Walker Rd. Avon Lake, OH 44012. We welcome all who knew and loved Dan to gather, share memories, and celebrate his life together.
