Daniel “Dan” Polly, age 67, passed away peacefully on July 26, 2026, surrounded by the love of his family.

Dan was a man who truly lived life to the fullest. He was the life of every party, always ready with a joke, a laugh, or a story that could make everyone around him smile. His greatest joy wasn’t found in things (in spite of his countless trips to the flea market)—it was found in people. If family and friends were gathering, that’s exactly where Dan wanted to be. Whether it was sitting around a campfire, spending a weekend camping, or simply enjoying time together, he treasured every moment spent surrounded by those he loved.

A skilled maintenance man by trade, Dan was known for his incredible mechanical ability. If it had a motor or needed fixing, there wasn’t much he couldn’t repair. He loved dirt bikes and anything else that could make noise and go fast. His knowledge, determination, and willingness to lend a hand earned the respect of everyone who knew him.

Above all, Dan was a proud father, a loving grandfather, and great-grandfather. His grandchildren and great-grandchildren were the light of his life, and nothing brought him greater happiness than making memories with them. His love for his family was constant, and his greatest fulfillment came from simply being together.

Dan’s legacy is one of laughter, hard work, generosity, and unconditional love. He leaves behind countless memories that will continue to bring smiles and comfort to those fortunate enough to have known him. While his absence leaves an immeasurable void, his spirit will live on in every campfire conversation, every engine brought back to life, and every family gathering filled with laughter.

He will be deeply missed, forever loved, and never forgotten.

Dan is survived by his daughter Carlie (Larry) Weiss, son Chad (Chrissy) Polly, grandsons Owen, Ben and Vance, granddaughters Ashlie, Olissa, Nevaeh and Isabella and great grandson Luxxen. He is proceeded in death by his son, Seth Polly and his Mother, Melda Polly and Father, DV Polly.
