Connard L. Hartley

Connard L. Hartley, 84 of Elyria, passed away on Sunday, February 14, 2021. He was a man who loved hunting – especially deer hunting, fishing, and the great outdoors. He also enjoyed tinkering around the house and was a dedicated father and family man.

Connard is survived by his children, Connie Stevanus (Dale), Fran Merick (Troy), and David Hartley (Charlene); grandchildren, Tonia Bachmayer (Albert), Christina Lemmings (Dylan), Dennis Read, Jr. (Heather), Michael Hartley (Crystal Pack), Nicole May (Mike), Sean Kohler, Andrew Hartley, Rebekah Hartley, and Jessica Hartley; great grandchildren, Alexander, Siara, Shelby, Hayden, Harper, Rhett, Autumn, and Emma; siblings, Zenith Hartley (Linda), James Hartley (Elise), and Willow Hackett (Tom); and brother-in-law, Donnie Yeager (Laura).

He was preceded in death by his parents, Lonnie and Columbia Hartley; wife, Emogene (nee Yeager) in 1996; and siblings, William Hartley, Anita Coleman, David Hartley, Sandra Goad, and John Hartley.

The family will receive friends at the Wyers-Bollinger Funeral Chapel, 2900 N. Ridge Rd., Sheffield Tnsp. on Saturday, February 20 from 11am-1pm with the funeral service beginning at 1pm followed by the interment in Nesbett Cemetery in Grafton.
