Clyde Fitzpatrick

Clyde Fitzpatrick, 81 of Lorain, passed away at his home on Saturday, December 11, 2021. He retired from the Ford Motor Company where he worked for 48 years. He loved sports and was a former coach and a boxer. Clyde loved the outdoors and enjoyed taking care of his lawn, golfing, and fishing. He also enjoyed bowling, but especially loved watching his grandchildren play sports. Clyde liked to spend time at the Eagles club in Amherst and the Italian American Veterans club.


Clyde is survived by his sons, Clyde III (Lisa), Steven (Jessica), and William (Michelle); grandchildren, Alexis, Stevie, Nate, Mason, Colin, Conor, Lauren, Hunter, Tristan, Brianna, and Keelan; great grandsons, Benedict and Ezra; and sisters, Brenda Breeding (Fred), and Deborah Sperko.


He was preceded in death by his wife, Dixie; parents, Clyde and Shirley Fitzpatrick; and grandson, Blake.


The family will receive friends at the Wyers-Bollinger Funeral Chapel, 2900 N. Ridge Rd., E., Sheffield Twp. on Thursday from 2-4pm and 6-8pm with a memorial service beginning at 7:30pm.
