Christopher A. Bailey

Christopher A. Bailey, 61 of Elyria, passed away on Thursday, June 22, 2023. He was a US Navy veteran, having served on the USS Virginia. Chris was a mechanic and a “Jack of all trades; Master of none” who enjoyed fishing, hunting, and having a good time.  He really loved being with his family, especially his grandkids. Chris was looked upon as a teacher and a mentor, sharing his wisdom with everyone. He will be greatly missed.

Christopher is survived by his loving wife of over 41 years, Tammie (nee Heath); children, Michael (Bethany Cherney), Joshua, and Brandon (Candice) Bailey; grandchildren, Angel, Jeremiah, Chase, Zachary, Taylor, Jocelyn, Jacob, and Trevor Bailey; mother, Sharon Bailey; sister, Stacie Bailey; brothers, Randy (Gerri) and Matthew Bailey; along with many nieces, nephews, other family, and friends. He was preceded in death by his father, Ronald Bailey.

A celebration of his life will be held on Sunday, July 9 beginning at 5:00 pm at 7754 Oberlin Rd., Elyria.  All are welcome.

Wyers-Bollinger Funeral Chapel is assisting the family with the cremation.
