Charles Ellis Quesenberry went home to be with our Lord on February 13, 2026, at 4:47 p.m.
Charles was a truly beloved son, husband, father, brother, uncle, friend, grandpa, and great-grandpa. He was a devoted Child of God, an honorable veteran, and a wonderful human being. Known as a “fixer” and helper, Charles was always willing to lend a hand to anyone in need. His gentle spirit, steady strength, and generous heart touched the lives of many.
He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Gertrude Quesenberry (née Keckler); his parents, Norman and Blanche (née Wise) Quesenberry; and was the last surviving child of all his siblings.
Charles leaves behind his loving children: Theresa (Joe) Parr, Rick (Pat) Hill, and Deborah Whisman. He is also survived by his cherished grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and many dear friends who will forever hold his memory close to their hearts.
Family and friends will be received on Monday, February 23, 2026, at Wyers-Bollinger Funeral Chapel, 2900 N. Ridge Road East, Sheffield Township. Visitation will be held from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., with a funeral service to follow, officiated by Pastor James Monday of Praise and Worship Church. A procession will follow to Charles’ final resting place at Resthaven Memorial Gardens in Avon, where military honors will be rendered in recognition of his honorable service in the United States Army.
Charles will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by all who knew him.
“I love you, Daddy.”
