Brian Joseph Bajas

Brian Joseph Bajas, age 48, of Wellington, OH passed away Saturday morning January 9, 2021 at Mercy Hospital due to illness. He was born May 22, 1972 in Detroit, Michigan. He went to Cousino High School and graduated from the Culinary Arts program at Michigan Tech. Brian was full of life and enjoyed hockey, playing darts with the Ohio vending dart league, and most importantly, spending time with his family and friends.

Brian is survived by his wife of 14 years, Tina Bajas; mother and father, Gail and Stephen Bajas; sister Renee Dye (Mike); brothers, Sean Bajas (Brant), Bill Stewart, Chip Stewart (Jodi); sister, Stephanie Stewart; as well as sisters-in-law, Judy Riley (Bob) and Jeannette Kubisen (Bart); nieces and nephews, Juli, Kelly, and Holly Riley, Kylee Dupakoski (Megan); and many extended family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Teresa Bajas; grandparents, Joseph and Helen Mavrovic, Chester and Mary Bajas; and motherly figure, Sharon Stewart.

No service will be held at this time, but a celebration of Brian’s life will be held at a later date. He will be laid to rest along side his mother in Michigan.
