Barbara Joy Lake

Barbara Joy Lake (Pyecroft), age 75, passed away on June 8, 2026, in Elyria, Ohio. Born on May 21, 1951, in Elyria to the late Everett “Bud” and Barbara Pyecroft. She married Galen Lake on April 20, 1974.

Barbara worked for 27 years as a phlebotomist at Elyria Medical Center.

She enjoyed making floral arrangements, antiquing, and spending time with her grandchildren.

She is survived by her husband, Galen; her sons, Joseph (Jennifer) Lake and Michael (Carolyn) Lake; and her cherished grandchildren, Tyler Lake, Bella Lake, Laney Lake, and Tanner Lake. Barbara was preceded in death by her parents; and brother, John Pyecroft.

Barbara’s memory will live on in the hearts of those who knew her.
