July 12, 1986 – August 19, 2025
With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Anthony Fischbach, who left us too soon at the age of 39. Anthony was the cherished son of the late Jennifer Lynn Holden (Michael) and loving brother to Vincent (Jayde), and Alyssa Roethle (Lucas). He was the beloved grandson of Karol Fischbach (née Noble) and the late Edward Fischbach.
Anthony was surrounded by a close-knit circle of family and friends. He was a devoted uncle to Kowen, Elijah, Remi, Krew, Tristen, Hazel, and Nixon, sharing a special bond with each of them. His aunts and uncles—Mary Shearer (Al), Chrissy Kurson (Bruce), Teresa Bryan (Robert), and Donna Hegedus (Craig)—as well as his cousins Cindy, Dairell, Alex, Keith, Amber, and Shaun, will remember him with great affection. Anthony’s lifelong friends, Brent, Brittany, and Michael, were like family to him and remained steadfast by his side.
Anthony’s memory will also be kept alive by his beloved dog, Rory, who now finds comfort with his cousin Dairell.
Anthony’s culinary creations were legendary among friends and family alike; he delighted in experimenting with new seafood recipes, many of which became treasured family favorites. Whether he was discussing, debating, or watching Cleveland sports—the Browns, Guardians, or Cavs—or playing video games with his cousin Shaun, Anthony’s enthusiasm was infectious, and his presence always made gatherings brighter.
His generosity, vibrant creativity, and warm sense of humor left a lasting impression on all who knew him. May his legacy continue to inspire and uplift the many lives he touched. Those who wish to honor Anthony’s memory may contribute to University Hospital Seidman Center.
