Allen J. Boris

Allen J. Boris, 82 of Elyria, passed away on Sunday, August 25, 2024. He was a US Navy veteran who worked for 35 years at Invacare where he had created and obtained several patents. Allen was a huge University of Michigan fan and loved watching sports and traveling. He also was a member of the Elyria Moose Lodge and enjoyed tinkering around the house.

Allen is survived by his loving daughter, Jennifer Sirow (Grant); grandchildren, Aerin Sirow and Konnor Sirow; granddaughter, Courtney Manu (Deeh); and a brother, Raymond Boris.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Michael and Stella Boris; his wife of 50 years, Kathleen Boris; daughter, Elizabeth Crough; and sister, Bernice Stumphauzer.

The family will receive friends on Monday, September 16 from 6:00 - 8:00 pm, with a memorial service beginning at 8:00 pm at the Wyers-Bollinger Funeral Chapel, 2900 N. Ridge Rd. E., Sheffield Twp.
